Good Evening!

Honorable Mayor Joseph Buenaventura, Dr. Olivia F. De Leon and our distinguish guest, Mr. Rex Tantiongco. I welcome each and everyone of you to this remarkable occasion-an occasion that will be imprinted in the annals of history of the Morong High School Alumni Association.

We, the Western Canada Chapter, to the very best of our capacity has vowed to provide you with immeasurable pleasure, accommodation and enjoyment that we hope will be etched in your memory for a long, long time.

 This years Grand Alumni Reunion is indeed special and very significant to the Western Canada Chapter because it grants us this great opportunity to offer our warmest welcome to all of you.

In hosting this event, we were determined to uphold the chapter’s mission of Bridging and Strengthening the Bond of Solidarity, Cooperation, Understanding, Sharing the Spirit of Love and concern for others. Most importantly, it is our fondest wish that this event will allow all of us to impart the warmth of friendship, the richness of our life experiences and to renew our commitment to the association’s shared dreams and vision for our ALMA MATER—THE MORONG HIGH SCHOOL.

Let us keep the torch burning and continue on our alumni participation to preserve the culture of unity, uplift the general welfare of our members and pursue more worthy endeavors. Just as Dr. Avelina T. Llagas, one of our respected mentors expressed “You, The Products of our Beloved Morong High School are the – LIVING LEGACY “.

My sincerest thanks to all my fellow officers and committee members who contributed many long hard hours and sacrifices in making tonight’s affair possible. My team, chairman of each committee and all the members worked really, really hard to make this affair a success. From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all.
