Normita Fenn’s Speech at the Grand Alumni Homecoming,
July 14, 2001, Los Angeles, California

Honorable Mayor Jorge Bernardo, President of Rizal Polytechnic College, Dr. Olivia Feliciano de Leon, Fellow Alumni, Distinguished Guests.  Good evening.

We are here tonight, to once again celebrate the greatness of the Morong High School Alumni Association.  As proud graduates of Morong High School, we are here to remember the many wonderful days of our high school, and to renew our commitment to support the ideals imparted by this great institution.   A lot of years have gone by, the portals of our beloved high school were but a vivid memory, but the values and friendships we have acquired will remain forever.

On behalf of the Northern California Chapter, I would like to thank the Grand Alumni Homecoming Committee who worked to make this occasion a success.  Our sincere congratulations go to the newly-inducted officers of the Southern California Chapter, led by Mr. Romy Pascual.  We wish you the best of success as you pursue our common goals and objectives for the Association.

To Mayor Jorge Bernardo, we thank you for joining us in this memorable occasion.  We wish you well, as you lead our town of Morong in meeting the new challenges of the twenty-first century.  And, to Dr. Olivia Feliciano De Leon, may you continue to provide us with the inspiration and guidance.  To all the alumni here and everywhere, let us join together in supporting the needs of the educational institutions and the community of Morong, for generations to come.

Thank you and good night. v
