Donation Program—MHSAA-Northern California Chapter

The MHSAA-Northern California Chapter launched a major computer equipment donation program to the schools and municipality in Morong at a special gathering held on April 20, 2006 in Morong.  The computers were obtained by the chapter through the efforts and assistance of Leo Alejandro and Alexi Lamadrid of Operation Health Aid headed by Lilia Lamadrid.  Photos show the officers—Vilma Arcia-president and Cado Soriano-vice president, Monico Mateo, Jr.,-director, Rogelio Arcia and Dante Pascual-advisers, with representatives from University of Rizal System, Morong National High School,  and Ramon Tantiongco Elementary School accepting the donation. Mayor Jojo Buenaventura accepted the donated computer on behalf of the municipal office from Ricardo Soriano, chapter vice president, joined by Mon Mateo and Rogelio Arcia.  It is worth noting that Vilma and Cado spent many hours preparing the equipment prior to shipping and making the logistical arrangements upon arrival.  We sincerely appreciate the generosity of Lilia Lamadrid and her organization for making this donation program possible. 

The Morong Balikbayan Association donated reference books to the University of Rizal System.  Photo shows Monico Mateo, Jr. and Dante Pascual presenting the books to Dr. Olivia Feliciano De Leon, URS President, on April 19, 2006.  The books were acquired from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
