
In concurrence with the purposes and intents of the
Morong High School Alumni Association - Northern California Chapter, and in
support of the goals set by the Officers and Directors of the Association, the Executive Committee hereby proposes to undertake the following:
Review
of Association By-Laws Committee:
Conduct a review of the Association’s By-Laws to determine areas that
need to be updated in accordance with the present needs of the Association;
submit findings and recommendations, if necessary.

Finance
Committee:
Oversee all aspects of the financial activities and condition of the
Association.1

Implement strict procedures in the disbursement of
funds.

Monitor the expenses, receivables of the
Association.
¨
Reconcile bank statements, prepare and submit
audited reports in a timely manner.
¨
Submit necessary reports to government agencies as
required.
Membership
Committee:
a.
Increase participation of alumni in all activities of the Association;
b. Maintenance of membership
listing/directory.

Maintain membership listing and computerize
membership directory.
¨
Issue alumni membership cards – accept $1.00
donation per card.
¨
Create programs to enhance interest of members.

Bring a
member to a meeting.

Coordinators

Assist in
various activities of the membership committee, souvenir program, and social
events committees.

Solicit assistance from individuals in each of the
classes to be primary contacts for activities such as membership drives,
souvenir program coordination, fundraising, and attendance at functions.
Grand
Alumni Reunion Committee:
Act as liaison between between chapters in handling the
necessary logistics, i.e. souvenir program, ticket distribution.

Assess possible types of donations, gifts, etc.

Create scholarship program – criteria,
qualifications – in process

Determine costs vs Association's budget.

Submit recommendations to the Association for
review and approval.
Recognition
Award Committee: Formulate an accomplishments-driven award program
that recognizes exemplary efforts by alumni to the Association:

Establish a uniform set of criteria and guidelines
for consideration and final selection.

Accept and review all candidates submitted by
members.

Evaluate candidates in accordance with the uniform

Relations Committee:
Interact with other MHSAA alumni chapters on matters related to joint
activities, programs, etc.

Assist the Chapter in the implementation of
programs and activities with the other alumni chapters.
Community
Relations Committee:

Maintain and coordinate communications with local media and government
agencies related to the Association's events;

Suggestions
Committee: Solicit
and evaluate all ideas and concepts from the members.

practicality and applicability.

Submit any idea or concept at the Officers meeting
for discussion and consideration.
Committee on Elections: Implement elections standards and procedures with the goal of attracting other members to help run the Association.
