HIGH SCHOOL TUITION  FEE  SCHOLARSHIP

Eligibility Criteria:

¨      Currently enrolled at the University of Rizal, High School Division/Department

¨      Will be first year, second, third or fourth year high school during the school year when the scholarship will be granted. Past recipients could re-apply for funding for the succeeding years until graduation.

¨      Maintain a satisfactory performance without failure in any subject preferably a general average of eighty five (85).

¨      Financial need – Students who are recommended for the scholarship grant shall present the income tax returns (ITR) which would fall under the following categories:

  1. A family with one child with Php 50,000.00 or less annual income;
  2. A family with two or four children in school with Php 70,000 or less annual income;
  3. A family of five or more children in school with Php 90,000 or less annual income.

Only one member of the family shall enjoy the scholarship program.

¨      Leadership ability and willingness to provide help to the community

¨      Good moral character – Passed the background investigation conducted by the Scholarship Selection Committee of the URS.

¨      Not a recipient of other scholarship grant

Process:

¨      Complete the application form

¨      Submit the completed application form with photo and the required documentation to the Scholarship Committee of the University of Rizal on or before: **__________ of each year.

¨      The Scholarship Selection Committee of the University of Rizal will review the application, conduct interview and background investigation and send the recommendation to the MHSAA, Inc.- No, California Chapter.  The communication could be done using the best available technology (BAT).

¨      The MHSAA, Inc. No. CA Chapter will send the final approval using the BAT on or before **____________

¨      The scholarship money will be remitted by the Northern California Chapter of the Morong High School Alumni Association, Inc. on or before **___________ of each year to cover a portion or all of the tuition fee only for the specified school year.

¨      The recipient should complete and send the acknowledgment form on or before **________ of each year.  It will be included in the Annual Report of the Scholarship Committee of the Morong High School Alumni Association Inc., No. CA Chapter to be published on the website.

¨      Refer to the Terms of the Award for specific and other provisions.
